The Environment

Building on Wetlands

Houses built on these wetlands are prone to flooding and collapsing through structural failure, cracking and bending of structures leading to reduced lifespan of the structures.
Section 113 of the Environmental Management Act (Chapter 20:27) states that the Minister may declare any wetland to be an ecologically sensitive area and may impose limitations of development in and around that area.
Any activity conducted on a wetland, without a licence, is subject to a prison sentence or a heavy fine.

AGENDA E LEARNING

COLIN SIMBARASHE NYANGANI INWAITING MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT FOR SUNNINGDALE CONSTITUENCY, proposes to implement Wi-Fi zones and hotspots in Ward 10 and 12.

COLIN SIMBARASHE NYANGANI INWAITING MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT FOR SUNNINGDALE CONSTITUENCY proposes to create public Wi-Fi zones for a number of reasons that revolve around economic development, including the ability to promote local businesses on a splash or landing page, the attractiveness of free Wi-Fi to tourists, the fact that having this kind of connection “signals” to outsiders that a town is forward thinking, and, finally, the opportunity for those who might otherwise not be able to have the internet at home (whether this is because there is no option for a fast connection, or whether they simply cannot afford one) to access the internet from a broad area.

One of the most requested items in our application was the "downtown Wi-Fi Zones and Hotspots". As a member of the Millennial Generation, the benefits of having a free and public wireless zone are intrinsic to my mode of operating. A public internet connection means that there is one more place where I can connect to a world in which I feel comfortable, where I can research the closest good restaurant, look at pictures from my friends’ adventures, and find out quickly whether Economic revolutionary Colin Simbarashe Nyangani was Economic revolutionary without using up megabites on my data plan. (He was and is.)

SUNNINGDALE CONSTITUENCY 2018 ELECTIONS aims to maintain balance within the political system, and will keep pushing until the correct balance is reached.

UNEMPLOYMENT

FORMAL & INFORMAL

The unemployment rate is very high in these two wards (10 & 12) and this has led to rise in criminal activities.

While no single prescription can address the concerns of all categories of informal enterprises, activities, or workers, there is a growing consensus that a comprehensive policy framework should entail four broad goals:

Vote for me as Member of Parliament to;

Create Sunningdale constituency skills database for employment purposes,

#1: Create online portal for more jobs, preferably formal jobs, through labour-intensive growth

#2: Register online informal enterprises & regulate informal jobs – Registering and taxing informal enterprises should be done by simplifying bureaucratic procedures and offering benefits and incentives in return for paying taxes. Employers should be encouraged to contribute to e-health coverage and pensions for their workers, and extend other benefits.

#3: Extend state social protection and legal protection to the informal workforce – There is a growing consensus that universal e-health care and pensions coverage are needed, though little agreement on the appropriate role for of government regulation and public expenditure, and the mix of public versus private provision.

#4: Increase productivity of informal enterprises & incomes for informal workers – There are two ways to achieve this.

·         The first is to increase the positives: through supportive measures to improve assets and market access, to provide legal identity and rights, to raise productivity, and to improve terms of trade or employment.

·         The second is to reduce the negatives: through measures that reduce risks and address market power imbalances, and that reduce policy or institutional biases which work against informal enterprises.

In waiting Member of Parliament believes for our Constituency to develop!!

Hon C.S. Nyangani

My name is Colin Simbarashe Nyangani also known as “King Codza”, Born on June 7, during the Zimbabwe –Rhodesia seize fire in 1979 in Mbare (Edith Oppermann Maternity) Harare. My father Morris Taremeredzwa Nyangani “Deceased” was upon his death in 2003 a procurement officer at ZESA “Megawatt” Head office and mother Tambudzayi Edith Gurupira an Ex Political Prisoner and Restrictee, both parents hailed from Mbare and Sunningdale respectively.

As I was growing up I preferred psychomotor activities in education rather than academic side and this made my relationship with my father, who was the complete opposite, a difficult one.

In 1985, my parents enrolled me at Glenview 4 Primary School where I did my grade 1, 1986 -87 went to Glen view 7 Primary, 1988 went Chitsere Primary school, 1989-90 went to Budiriro 2 Primary school, 1991 came back to Chitsere Primary school.

My secondary school started in 1992 at Sodbury Boarding School, 1993-1995 at Harare High school where I garnered a few subjects before supplementing at Audrey’s Academy in CBD Harare. In 1999 enrolled with Crescent Independent College where I undertook and successfully passed single subject Diploma in Business Management and Administration through the Institute of Commercial Management (United Kingdom). I received my employment orientation in 2000 at QI Employment agency, Margolis Plaza and got my first employment interview and passed with flying colours at Cummins Zimbabwe.

In 2001 the family moved to Kuwadzana Extension (Ward 44). As a young man had secured a job as a trainee Internal auditor with Cummins Zimbabwe underwent my 3 month probationary period and was successfully employed fulltime as Internal Auditor. Because my fellow workmates were so impressed by my character and ability in the job coerced me into the workers committee and subsequently voted me the workers committee chairman within a short stint.

In my first year of office as Workers Committee chairperson advocated and successfully managed to convince the works council without fail on the following areas; condition of service, remuneration, employee recognition and share ownership schemes amongst many others. I left Cummins in 2004 and had risen to be the head of department (Audit).

My first attempt to enter the world of politics by running for the Kuwadzana Constituency primary elections in 2013 under the United Movement for Democracy banner was a failure, but managed to participate in the Electoral process as a Constituency Chief Election Agent/ campaign manager for Mr. Peter Svinurai.

A turning point in the life of Colin Simbarashe Nyangani also known as “King Codza” was the challenge to the constitutional court on “dual citizenship” which he helped to promote and subsequently won through Mssrs Mutumwa Dziva Mawere and others.

In 2014, with a small payout from Old mutual Life decided to register and start a business. With only a few months of statutory compliance went to my former school “Chitsere Primary School” with a proposal for selling early childhood development (ECD) products and my first sale was done and concluded pocketing a few dollars. I felt so touched and happy at the same time such that I decided to donate a few products to the ECD classes (A &B) for the Prize Giving Day on 27th of November 2014 as my pay back and Corporate Social Responsibility.

In 2015 and 2016 these were the most challenging times in my life where I teamed up with three pseudo professionals and what came out was a dogs breakfast; "You can have the greatest goals in the world," "but if you have the wrong people running it, it isn’t going to work. On the other hand, if you’ve got the right person running it, almost anything is possible."

In July 2016, decided to isolate myself from these three and started my independent and self funded research on Government Knowledge Management as a way to cushion my failures and understudy what had been ratified by the people of Zimbabwe through the constitutional making process.

In August 2016 received a call on paper request via email from International Conference on Theory and Practice on electronic governance with the main theme ‘Building knowledge Societies, from Digital Government to Digital Empowerment’. My submission was successful, passed the evaluation stages and was invited by Government of India through the Ministry of Electronics, Information and Technology and the United Nations University.

The system had frustrated me in all respects from bank account closures, security bid bonds, nonpayment of works, and disappearance of documents amongst other things prior to the invitation and trip to New Delhi, India.

In 2017, the trip to New Delhi, India never materialized and undertook a self imposed exile to gather and recollect my senses and challenge the system through official means and observing the rule of law, expressed or implied.

Currently, Founder and Group Chief Finance/Operations of Mosmes Holdings (Pty) Ltd a company domiciled in the Republic of Botswana. I do research work, business advisory, entertainment promotions, sports development and Electoral advocacy.

Today I quote Nelson Mandela “I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.”

“How is it that you see the splinter in your brother’s eye and fail to see the plank in your own eye?” And this is one of the tragedies of human nature. So we begin to love our enemies and love those persons that hate us whether in collective life or individual life by looking at ourselves.”

To all registered voters in Mbare and Sunningdale (Ward 10&12)

“Be the change you want to see, the Zion train is coming your way”. VHOTERA AKAFANANA NEWE!!
